“Hapa”: A Hawaiian term used to describe a person of mixed Asian or Pacific Islander racial/ethnic heritage

“Ning”: Chinese for “peace”

You know that feeling when you are in a different city, either on vacation or business, and you want to go out at night? It does not matter if you are alone; with clients or friends. As someone not familiar with the area you may have problems coming up with something to do, let alone something enjoyable for all members of your party.

Think of that same feeling, but now you are in a foreign country and you do not speak the language.

With all those things in mind, we have created a Nightlife directory in both English and Japanese.

In developing the site we had 3 goals in mind:

• To help visitors maximize their trip to Vancouver by giving them quality options for nightlife and entertainment
• To stimulate the nightlife in Vancouver and try to remove the “No-Fun” Label
• To promote promoters, and their events
