Peace & Love International brought you Paint for Peace for the first time on June 27th, 2009. It was such an amazing event that they decided to do it again. This time it will be much bigger and better with a whole lot of new inspiring and powerful twists!

On November 22nd,come down to the Pacific Palisades Hotel at 1277 Robson (view map) to see 3 amazing international exhibitions.Admission is free and there will also be complimentary appetizers and great music.

The center piece of the event will feature over 30 amazing local artists painting live for guests to see. There will be pieces from a wide range of genres and styles and they will undoubtedly blow you away! All in all there will be about 100 original pieces there, all of which will be auctioned off through out the night to raise funds for an orphanage/women’s rights centre that Peace & Love International is building in 2010 in Nigeria. All proceeds will go towards building this world class institution which will be called “The Peace & Love Growth Centre”. Bidding starts at very low prices, and you are almost guaranteed to walk away with a great steal, for an even greater cause so come and do some meaningful early Xmas shopping!

Also on display will be another Peace & Love original: Art for Hope. This project consists of a series of over 20 moving drawings by children from kindergarten to grade 6 from a school in Bethlehem, Palestine called “Hope Flowers”. This school teaches children religious tolerance, forgiveness, conflict resolution, and multiculturalism to foster peace in the region for all creeds and races. All drawings are accompanied with a paragraph from the child who drew as well as the child’s photo. This exhibit has always drawn a great crowd, and since it was last exhibited, we have acquired 30 new pieces of art from the children.
Finally, Peace & Love will be unveiling its new project with “Camp Hope” in Ecuador. Camp Hope is an orphanage for mentally and physically disabled children. Last year Peace & Love sent an Agent of Change to the orphanage to fund and coordinate an arts and crafts project. She came back with 100 bracelets made by the children at the orphanage, accompanied by the children’s biographies and many incredible photos. All of this will be exhibited and sold to raise money for the children’s educational endeavors.
